Violent Clash During Idol Procession in Cuttack: 6 Injured, DCP Also Hurt

କଟକରେ ଭସାଣି ବେଳେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସଂଘର୍ଷ। ଉଭୟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଭିତରେ ଠେଲା ଓ କାଚ ବୋତଲ ମାଡ଼। ଏଥିରେ ୬ ଜଣ ଗୁରୁତର ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ଗତକାଲି ବିଳମ୍ବିତ ରାତିରେ ଦରଘାବଜାର ଥାନା ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଗଣ୍ଡଗୋଳ ପରେ ତୀବ୍ର ଉତ୍ତେଜନା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିଲା।

Late last night in Dargah Bazaar, Cuttack, a violent clash erupted between two groups during a shobha yatra (procession) heading toward Devi Gaḍā for idol immersion. The fight involved stone-pelting and glass bottle attacks. At least six people have sustained serious injuries, and DCP Rishikesh Khilar of Cuttack was also hit.
