The Odisha Vigilance has conducted raids on properties linked to Pramod Ray, Assistant Executive Engineer of the Water Resources Department at Derabish in Kendrapara district. The searches were carried out following allegations that the engineer had accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to reports, vigilance officials launched simultaneous raids at seven locations connected to the engineer. The operation is part of an ongoing investigation into suspected corruption and illegal wealth accumulation.

The raids were conducted across multiple districts including Kendrapara, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak and Bhubaneswar, as officials continue to verify documents and assess properties during the probe.
