A beneficiary of the Subhadra Yojana in Odisha has shared how the scheme’s installment money helped her become self-reliant. Using the Subhadra installment, she dug a pond and started fish farming. “With the Subhadra installment money, I started fish farming. By digging a pond and cultivating fish, I have become self-reliant,” the beneficiary said while sharing her experience. The Subhadra Yojana is a women-centric welfare initiative of the Odisha government that provides direct financial assistance to empower women and support their economic independence through livelihood activities.
