An uncovered drain in Balangir town has claimed the life of a 45-year-old cyclist, Virendra Naik, exposing gross negligence by the Public Works Department. The incident occurred on a busy road near major landmarks, including Pataneswari Temple, schools, medical facilities, and commercial establishments.
