ବୁଡିଗଲା ପୂରା ଗାଁ, ବୁଡି ଗଲା ଘର। ଜୀବନ ହୋଇଗଲା ନିରାଶ୍ରୟ। ହେଲେ ମିଳିଲାନି ସରକାରୀ ସହାୟତା। ଭାଗ୍ୟକୁ ଆଦରି କାଟିବାକୁ ହେଲା ଜୀବନ। ଏବେ ଜଳ ସେଚନ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଭିତରେ ଘର କରି ରହୁଛନ୍ତି କିଛି ଅସହାୟ ପରିବାର। ଏଠିକି ନା ଅଛି ରାସ୍ତା, ନା ମିଳୁଛି ବିଶୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଣି। ଏହି ବିସ୍ଥାପିତ ପରିବାରଙ୍କୁ ଆହା କରିବାକୁ ସତେଯେପରି କେହି ନାହାନ୍ତି।
A village submerged under the Lower Indra Irrigation Project left eight families homeless, waiting 15 long years for government assistance that never came. With no roads, clean water, electricity or basic facilities, they now live in makeshift mud houses inside the project’s water storage area. Their lives—once full of community and stability—are today marked by displacement, neglect, and silent suffering.
