Shreemayee Mishra Targets Naveen Patnaik, Pandian in Fresh Attack on BJD Leadership

Shreemayee Mishra has once again launched a sharp attack on the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), this time directly targeting party president Naveen Patnaik through a social media post. Along with Patnaik, she has also taken aim at senior leader V K Pandian, questioning the party’s claims of enforcing “discipline” by suspending two MLAs.

In her post, Shreemayee Mishra stated that suspending two legislators is being projected as a lesson in discipline, with allegations branding them as corrupt and traitors. However, she questioned who the real betrayer within the party actually is. Addressing Naveen Patnaik directly, she alleged that the BJD supremo is now trapped in his own web.

While stating that she continues to respect him as a senior leader, Shreemayee Mishra accused Naveen Patnaik of having an excessive inclination towards non-Odia influences, which she claimed is repeatedly insulting the people of Odisha. She further asserted that the soil of Odisha will never forgive those she described as “brand ambassadors of betrayal.”
