In a major anti-Naxal operation, security forces destroyed a Maoist memorial near Gugunda Hill in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. The memorial of Maoist leader Ramnar was demolished with the help of the 74 Battalion CRPF, 201 CoBRA unit and local residents.
