An investigation has begun into the tragic drowning death of three students at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Koraput, Odisha. Acting on the instructions of the District Collector, a special inquiry team has reached the school and launched a probe. Officials including the District Education Officer, Mangal Officer, Tehsildar and SDPO jointly inspected the school hostel, the nearby water reservoir and the riverbed area while also examining relevant records. Meanwhile, the incident has triggered a blame game, with the school authorities accusing the parents, while parents have held the school administration responsible for the tragedy. The investigation aims to determine the exact circumstances and accountability behind the deaths of the three students.
