Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89. He breathed his last at his Mumbai residence, where he was undergoing medical treatment.

Dharmendra, fondly remembered as Bollywood’s “He-Man”, was one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated stars. His passing marks a deep loss for the film fraternity and millions of fans worldwide.

Born on 8 December 1935 in Punjab, Dharmendra made his Bollywood debut in 1960 with the film “Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tera”. Over the decades, he delivered numerous hit films that left an unforgettable mark on Hindi cinema.
