After an Odisha court in Cuttack convicted actor Lipan Sahu to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife, popular tele actress Lakshmipriya Behera (alias Nikita)—a case dating back to January 2019—Nikita’s father has emotionally reacted to the judgment, expressing how the family has lived since the tragic loss and what her death has meant to them. The Additional District and Sessions Judge found Lipan guilty of pushing Nikita off their rooftop in Mahanadi Vihar area leading to severe injuries from which she later died, while acquitting his parents due to lack of evidence.
