ଆଜି ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା ନିର୍ବାଚନ ନାମାଙ୍କନ ଦାଖଲର ଶେଷଦିନ । ଆଜି ଶେଷଦିନରେ ମୋଟ ୫ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ନାମାଙ୍କନ ଭରୁଛନ୍ତି । ପ୍ରଥମ ଦୁଇ ଆସନ ପାଇଁ ବିଜେପିର ମନମୋହନ ସାମଲ ଓ ସୁଜିତ କୁମାର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ହୋଇଥିବାବେଳେ ତୃତୀୟ ଆସନ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ବିଜେଡିର ସଂତୃପ୍ତ ମିଶ୍ର । ତେବେ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ଆସନ ପାଇଁ ଏଥର ହେବ ରୋଚକ ଲଢେଇ । କାରଣ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ଆସନରେ ବିଜେଡି କମନ୍ କ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡେଟ୍ ଭାବେ ଦତ୍ତେଶ୍ୱର ହୋତାଙ୍କ ନାଁ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଥିବାବେଳେ ସମର୍ଥନ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛି କଂଗ୍ରେସ । ଏପଟେ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ସିଟ୍ ପାଇଁ ବିଜେପି ସମର୍ଥନ ସହ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ଭାବେ ନାମାଙ୍କନ ଦାଖଲ କରିବେ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀପ ରାୟ । ଏଭଳି ସ୍ଥଳେ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀପ ବନାମ ଦତ୍ତେଶ୍ୱର ଲଢେଇରେ ରୋଚକ ଚିତ୍ର ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିପାରେ।

Today marks the final day for filing nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections in Odisha, with a total of five candidates expected to submit their papers. For the first two seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Manmohan Samal and Sujeet Kumar, while Santrupt Misra has been nominated by the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for the third seat.

However, the fourth seat is likely to witness an interesting contest. The BJD has announced Datteshwar Hota as the common candidate, and the Congress has extended its support to him.

Meanwhile, Dilip Ray will file nomination as an Independent candidate with the support of the BJP for the fourth seat. With both candidates entering the race, the Dilip Ray vs Datteshwar Hota contest could make the Rajya Sabha election battle in Odisha particularly intriguing.
