In Badebil town, Kendu­jhar district, Odisha, a security guard was seriously injured after confronting a car violating traffic rules. The incident occurred on Wednesday at Bata Chaka when a car tried to bypass a No Entry route. The security guard initially attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver reportedly abused and forcibly pushed him, causing the guard to fall on the road and sustain serious injuries.

The guard, Deepak Kumar Lal, had been posted near Rama Petrol Pump and tried to intercept the car. Locals successfully prevented the driver from fleeing. Police later arrested the driver, identified as Bikky Prasad Gupta alias Dimba, who reportedly has a criminal history. Authorities are investigating the matter further.
