Internet Ban Continues in Cuttack — Situation Peaceful, Curfew Under Review

Description: Internet restrictions remain in Cuttack today until 7 PM following the District Collector’s recommendation. The Home Department has extended the ban in CMC, CDA, and Bayalishi Mouza, restricting access to WhatsApp, Facebook, X, and Instagram. Essential services like government offices, banks, and railways are exempted.

Police Commissioner confirmed that the situation is currently peaceful. RDC Central Range Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar stated that no miscreants involved in the incident will be spared. Authorities are monitoring whether the ongoing 10 AM curfew in Cuttack city will be extended or lifted.
