ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଆସୁଛି ଏକ ବଡ଼ ବର୍ଷା । ଆଜିଠାରୁ ୩ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଅଧିକାଂଶ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ବର୍ଷା ନେଇ ସମ୍ଭାବନା ନେଇ ପୂର୍ବାନୁମାନ କରିଛି ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ । ବିଶେଷ କରି ଉତ୍ତର ଉପକୂଳବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଗୋଟିଏ ଦୁଇଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଘଡ଼ଘଡ଼ି ସହ ବର୍ଷା ହୋଇପାରେ । ଏଥିଲାଗି ଆଜି ପାଇଁ ୧୨ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ୟେଲୋ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି । ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ପାଇଁ ୨୪ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରିଛି ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗ।

A spell of heavy rain is likely to lash several districts of Odisha for the next three days. The Regional Meteorological Centre has forecast rainfall across most parts of the state starting today. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning may occur at one or two places, especially in the northern coastal districts.

The weather department has issued a Yellow Warning for 12 districts today and a warning for 24 districts tomorrow, including an Orange Warning for four districts. In these areas, heavy rain with lightning is expected along with strong winds blowing at 40 to 50 kmph. Districts under Yellow Warning may witness thunderstorms with winds of 30 to 40 kmph.
