In a troubling incident at Dasamahapatra Banchhanidhi Government High School in Srijang village under Khantapada police station in Balasore district, Odisha, a gun was found in the bag of a Class VIII schoolboy shortly before school ended on Thursday. Fellow students spotted the firearm in the boy’s bag and alerted teachers, prompting immediate action by the school committee. The committee informed the Khantapada police, who then recovered the weapon and took the minor into custody.
