ଦୀପାବଳିରେ ଦୀପଦାନ, ପୟାଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧକୁ ନେଇ ଦ୍ୱନ୍ଦ୍ୱ ଉପୁଜିଛି । ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୦ ତାରିଖରେ ଦୀପଦାନ ଓ ପୟାଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ କରାଯିବ ନା ୨୧ ତାରିଖରେ କାଉଁରିଆ ଜାଳିବେ ଲୋକେ । ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ସ୍ୱୀକୃତି ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ୫ଟି ପଞ୍ଜିକାରେ ୨୦ ତାରିଖରେ ଶ୍ୟାମା ପୂଜା, ପୟା ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଦୀପଦାନ ରହିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଅନେକ ପଞ୍ଜିକାରେ ୨୧ତାରିଖରେ ପୟାଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ ଦୀପଦାନ ଲେଖାଯାଇଛି । ପୁଣି ୨୧ତାରିଖ ସରକାରୀ ଛୁଟି ରହିଛି, ଯାହାକୁ ନେଇ ଦ୍ୱନ୍ଦ୍ୱ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେଉଛି କେଉଁଦିନ ପାଳନ କରିବେ ଲୋକେ । ଅନ୍ୟପକ୍ଷରେ ଜ୍ୟୋତିର୍ବିଦ୍ ୨୧ ତାରିଖରେ ଦୀପଦାନ ଓ ପୟାଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ଲାଗି ଯୁକ୍ତି ବାଢ଼ିଛନ୍ତି ।

During Diwali, devotees are facing confusion over whether to perform Deepadana (offering of lamps) and Payashradha (offering of rice pudding to ancestors) on 20th or 21st October. Five official panchangas list 20th October, while several calendars and public opinion suggest 21st October.

Astrologers (Jyotirvids) recommend performing the rituals on 21st October, as it coincides with Chaturdashi combined with Amavasya, making it an auspicious tithi. Temples and Shrimandir-approved calendars also indicate both dates, adding to public uncertainty.
