Clash Erupts Over Land in Ganjam’s Singipur & Ratnamanipur; BNS 163 Imposed

ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ସାନଖେମୁଣ୍ଡିର ଦୁଇ ଗାଁରେ BNS ୧୬୩। ଜାଗା ବିବାଦକୁ ନେଇ ସିଙ୍ଗିପୁର ଏବଂ ରତ୍ନମଣିପୁରରେ ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି ଉତ୍ତେଜନା। ପାଟପୁର ଥାନାରେ ଲିଖିତ ଏତଲା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଉଭୟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ। ସାନଖେମୁଣ୍ଡି ତହସିଲଦାରଙ୍କ ଏତଲା ପରେ ୨ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ୨୦ ଅଟକ। ଏକ ସରକାରୀ ଜାଗାରେ ରତ୍ନମଣିପୁର ବାସିନ୍ଦା ହନୁମାନ ମନ୍ଦିର ସହ ପାର୍କ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ହେଲେ ସିଙ୍ଗିପୁର ଗାଁ ଲୋକ ସେଠାରୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ହଟାଇ ମାର୍କେଟ କମ୍ପ୍ଲେକ୍ସ ଏବଂ ଶୌଚାଳୟ ନିର୍ମାଣ ପାଇଁ ଜିଦ୍ ଧରିଛନ୍ତି। ଉଭୟ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଜିଦରେ ଅଟଳ ରହିଥିବାରୁ ଲାଗି ରହିଛି ବିବାଦ। ଗତକାଲି ବିବାଦ ଉଗ୍ର ରୂପ ନେବା ସହିତ ଦୁଇ ପକ୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହୋଇଥିଲା ଢେଲାପଥର ମାଡ଼। ରଣକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପାଲଟିଥିଲା ତପ୍ତପାଣି ମୁଖ୍ୟ ରାସ୍ତାର ଡେଙ୍ଗାଉସ୍ତା ଛକ। ଫଳରେ ଦୁଇ ଗାଁରେ BNS ୧୬୩ ଜାରି କରିବା ସହିତ ଫ୍ଲାଗମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରିଛି ପୋଲିସ।

In Ganjam district, block Sanakhemundi, violent clashes broke out between residents of Singipur and Ratnamanipur villages over a patch of government land. Demands over land use led to stone-pelting and standoff. Authorities imposed BNS 163 prohibition in both villages to restrict public assembly.
