ବଦଳିବ ଇଂରାଜୀ ଅପଭ୍ରଂଶ ନାଁ। ବ୍ରିଟିଶ ଅମଳରୁ ଚାଲି ଆସିଥିବା ଭୁଲର ସଂଶୋଧନ ପାଇଁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି।ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କୁ ଚିଠି ଲେଖିଲେ ରାଜସ୍ବ ସଚିବ ଅରବିନ୍ଦ ପାଢ଼ୀ। ଇଂରାଜୀ ନାମ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାମାଣିକ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ନାମ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯିବ।
In a significant move, the Odisha government has decided to correct English distortions of Odia names that have been in use since the British era. Revenue Secretary Aravind Padhee has written to all District Collectors directing them to initiate the process of replacing anglicised names with authentic Odia spellings.
