A bomb attack was reported late last night in Padnapur village of Jatni in Khordha district, leaving two people injured, including a minor. The seriously injured minor has been admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for treatment. The incident occurred when villagers were heading to watch the local Melan Yatra festival.

According to reports, an argument first broke out between youths from two neighbourhoods. The dispute soon escalated into a clash, during which bombs were allegedly hurled, resulting in injuries.
