BJP leader Pitabasa Panda, a senior advocate in Berhampur, Odisha, was gunned down on Monday night near his residence under Baidyanathpur Police limits. Two motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire from extremely close range, and Panda succumbed to the injuries shortly after being rushed to hospital.
