BJP leader Pitabas Panda was shot at with two bullets. One bullet hit his chest, while the second’s trajectory is under investigation. He was immediately rushed to Brahmapur MKCG Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Forensics confirmed the bullet lodged in his chest, which was later removed during postmortem. Authorities continue to probe the motive and the identity of the assailants.
