A new cyclonic system named ‘Montha’ is forming over the Bay of Bengal. The low-pressure area that developed today is expected to intensify into a depression by this afternoon, then into a deep depression by Sunday night, and further into a cyclone by 8 AM on Monday, 27 October, moving northwestwards.
