Balasore SP Clarifies: No Curfew in the City

Balasore Superintendent of Police has confirmed that reports of a curfew in the city are false. Some social media posts and news reports claimed a night curfew, but the SP clarified that no curfew has been imposed in Balasore.

Only guidelines for closing shops late at night were issued. Last night, the police used public announcement systems and loudspeakers to inform citizens about these instructions. Shops were directed to close by 10 PM as per the advisory.
