The International Cricket Council (ICC) has rejected the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) request to move its ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 matches out of India, officials said. Bangladesh had formally sought to have its scheduled matches shifted to Sri Lanka citing security and safety concerns ahead of the February–March tournament, but the ICC decided to decline the venue change and told the BCB the team must play in India as per the original schedule.
