ଦିନେ ଏଠି କୂଳକୁ ମାଡ଼ି ଆସୁଥିଲା ଲହଡ଼ି, ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଗର୍ଜନ ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ ନୀଳ ଜଳରାଶି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକଙ୍କୁ ଦୂରଦୂରାନ୍ତରୁ ଟାଣି ଆଣୁଥିଲା। ହେଲେ ବର୍ଷ କେଇଟାରେ ନିଜ ପରିଚୟ ହରାଇ ବସିଛି ଏହି ବେଳାଭୂମି। ବେଳାଭୂମି ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଆସି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକ ପାଉଛନ୍ତି ମରୁଭୂମି। କାରଣ ଆଉ ଆଗ ପରି ଚାନ୍ଦିପୁର ବେଳାଭୂମିର ଚମକ ନାହିଁ।
Once known for waves touching the shore and the roaring sound of the sea, Chandipur Beach in Odisha used to draw tourists from far and wide. Over the years, however, the beach has lost its identity, leaving visitors disappointed as they now encounter dry, desert-like stretches instead of the blue waters of the sea.
