Six years after the shocking death of Odia television actress Lakshmipriya Behera alias Nikita, the Cuttack ADJ-3 Court on February 26, 2026 sentenced her husband Lipan Sahu to life imprisonment. The court found him guilty of murder under IPC Section 302 for allegedly pushing Nikita from the roof of their house in January 2019, leading to her death during treatment on January 5, 2019.
