Youth Stabbed to Death Near Swargadwar in Puri; One More Critically Injured

A brutal murder took place near Swargadwar in Puri late last night. The deceased has been identified as Ranjan Kumar Das of Apanda village under Banta police station in Bhadrak district. He had come to Swargadwar along with others to perform the last rites of a relative. After the rituals, an altercation broke out with another youth while they were leaving the area, following which Ranjan was attacked with a knife and his throat was slit, killing him on the spot.
