A youth was seriously injured after a kite string got tangled around his nose while he was riding a bike in the Khan Nagar traffic area of Cuttack. The sharp kite string left him bleeding profusely. He was rushed to Cuttack SCB Medical College and Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment in critical condition. Such kite string-related accidents have once again raised safety concerns.
