In a tragic incident reported from Chalanti village under Jaleswar police station in Balasore district, a two-month-old infant sustained serious burn injuries after falling into a burning stove. The baby has been admitted to the Balasore District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. According to sources, the child’s mother was sitting near the stove while holding the infant when, due to negligence, the baby slipped and fell into the fire. More than half of the infant’s body is reported to have suffered burns.
