ଆଜିଠୁ ମହଙ୍ଗା ହେଲା ଟ୍ରେନ ଯାତ୍ରା। ଭାରତୀୟ ରେଳବାଇ ଅନୁସାରେ ୨୧୫ କିଲୋମିଟର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସାଧାରଣ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ଯାତ୍ରା ପାଇଁ ଭଡା ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରାଯାଇ ନାହିଁ । କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହାଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଦୂରତା ପାଇଁ ସାଧାରଣ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ପ୍ରତି କିଲୋମିଟରରେ ୧ ପଇସା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ହୋଇଛି। ସେହିପରି ମେଲ୍/ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସନ୍ ନନ୍-ଏସି ଓ ଏସି କୋଚରେ କିଲୋମିଟର ପ୍ରତି ୨ ପଇସା ମହଙ୍ଗା ହୋଇଛି ଟ୍ରେନ୍ ଯାତ୍ରା।

Train travel has become costlier from today following a fare revision by Indian Railways. As per the announcement, there is no fare hike for general class journeys up to 215 kilometres. However, for distances beyond 215 km, passengers travelling in the general class will have to pay 1 paise more per kilometre.
