Tiger Counting Begins in Similipal Tiger Reserve with Cameras Across 2,750 sq km

ଶିମିଳିପାଳ ଅଭୟାରଣ୍ୟରେ ବାଘ ଗଣନା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି । ୨୭୫୦ ବର୍ଗ କିମି ଇଲାକାରେ ବାଘ ଗଣନା ପାଇଁ କ୍ୟାମେରା ଲଗାଯାଇଛି। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଶିମିଳିପାଳ ଅଭୟାରଣ୍ୟ ରେ ବାଘ ଯିବାଆସିବା କରୁଥିବା ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ଏହି କ୍ୟାମେରା ଲଗାଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ପାଖାପାଖି ସାତଶହ ରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ କ୍ୟାମେରା ଲଗାଯାଇଛି।

Forest teams have placed cameras at many strategic points along routes used by tigers. When a tiger or any animal crosses in front of a camera, it captures a photo. After the images are collected, they will be sent to the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) for detailed analysis, helping determine the actual tiger count.
