କୌରବ ସଭାରେ ପଶା ଖେଳରେ ହାରି ବନାବାସ କାଟିବା ବେଳେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆସିଥିଲେ ପଞ୍ଚୁପାଣ୍ଡବ । ଆଉ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ କିଛି ଦିନ ଅବସ୍ଥାନ କରିଥିଲେ । ଯାହାପରେ ପାଣ୍ଡବଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ନାମିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ଏହି ପୀଠ, ଯାହାର ନାମ 'ପଞ୍ଚୁ ପାଣ୍ଡବ' । ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବାଲିକୁଦା ବ୍ଲକ ବାହାରଣା ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଦରବା ଗ୍ରାମରେ ରହିଛି ପଞ୍ଚୁ ପାଣ୍ଡବ ମନ୍ଦିର ।
Panchu Pandav Temple, located in Darbha village of Balikuda Block, Jagatsinghpur district, Odisha, is a historic site associated with the Pandavas, who are said to have stayed here during their exile after losing the dice game in the Kaurava court.
