ବଜେଟ୍ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଲା ମଦ୍ୟପଙ୍କ ଅଣ୍ଟା । ମଦ କିଣିବାକୁ ଏବେ ଦରକାର ଅଧିକ ଟଙ୍କା । ବଢ଼ିଲା ଗୁଟକା, ସିଗାରେଟ, ପାନ ମସଲା ଓ ତମାଖୁ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ । ୨୦୨୬-୨୭ ଆର୍ଥିକ ବର୍ଷ ପାଇଁ ଅର୍ଥମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନିର୍ମଳା ସୀତୀରମଣ ସଂସଦରେ ଆଜି ବଜେଟ୍ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ସବୁବର୍ଷ ଭଳି ଏବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟ ବଜେଟ୍ ଉପରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ନଜର ରହିଥିଲା ।
The Union Budget 2026–27, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament, has made alcohol, gutkha, cigarettes, pan masala and other tobacco products costlier by increasing taxes and duties. As a result, consumers will now have to spend more money to purchase liquor and tobacco products. Like every year, the Budget drew nationwide attention, and this time the Finance Minister announced higher levies on tobacco keeping public health concerns in focus.
