West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made a major administrative change ahead of the Assembly elections by appointing senior IAS officer Nandini Chakraborty as the state’s Chief Secretary. With this, West Bengal gets its first woman Chief Secretary. Nandini Chakraborty took charge after the retirement of Manoj Pant.
