Former Maoist couple, once armed rebels in Chhattisgarh’s Maoist-affected Kanker district, have begun a new life together. The pair, who surrendered to the police months ago, were married inside the Pakhanjur police station, which was decorated as a wedding venue. With traditional rituals and blessings from police officers, they chose peace and love over violence — setting a powerful example of transformation and hope.
