ପଶୁଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ବି ଏତେ ରାଗ, ଏତେ କ୍ରୋଧ। ଆଉ ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧ ନେବାର ପାଗଳାମି । ଆଜ୍ଞା ହଁ, ଟିକେ ଭଲ କି ଏ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ। ରାଗ ଶୁଝାଇବାକୁ ନିଜର ପରମ ଶତ୍ରୁ ଦନ୍ତା ରାମୁର କଙ୍କାଳ ଓ ଖପୁରୀକୁ ବି ଛାଡୁନି ଦନ୍ତା ପଲକ। ବଞ୍ଚିଥିବା ବେଳେ ରାମୁ ଯେପରି କଲବଲ କରିଛି ସୁଧମୂଳ ସହ ତା’ର ହିସାବ ନେଉଛି ପଲକ । ଚନ୍ଦକା ଅଭୟାରଣ୍ୟର ଭରତପୁର ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଛି ଏପରି କିଛି ରୋଚକ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ।
An extraordinary and intense scene has emerged from the Bharatpur forest inside Chandaka Wildlife Sanctuary. A tusker elephant, Palanga, was seen expressing extreme aggression by attacking the skeleton and skull of his long-time rival, Danta Ramu. Even after Ramu’s death, Palanga appeared unwilling to let go of past hostility, repeatedly striking the remains as if settling old scores.
