In a heartwarming incident from Chennai, a sanitation worker found a bag containing gold jewellery worth around ₹45 lakh on the roadside and returned it to the police without hesitation. The incident occurred in the Muppathamman Temple Street area of T. Nagar when Padma, a woman sanitation worker, noticed a suspicious black bag lying on the road during her cleaning duty.
