Sindh May Return to India, Says Rajnath Singh — Borders “Can Change”

କେବେ ବି ବଦଳିପାରେ ଭାରତର ସୀମାରେଖା । କିଏ ଜାଣେ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ଭାରତକୁ ଫେରିପାରେ ସିନ୍ଧ୍। ପାକିସ୍ତାନର ସିନ୍ଧ୍ ପ୍ରଦେଶକୁ ନେଇ ଏମିତି ବଡ଼ କଥା କହିଛନ୍ତି ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ରାଜନାଥ ସିଂ। ଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ସିନ୍ଧୀ ସମାଜ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ, ସିନ୍ଧ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ଆଜି ଭାରତ ସହିତ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସଭ୍ୟତାଗତ ଭାବରେ ସିନ୍ଧ ସବୁବେଳେ ଭାରତର ଅଂଶ। ଖୁବଶୀଘ୍ର ସୀମା ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହୋଇପାରେ। କିଏ ଜାଣେ କାଲି ସିନ୍ଧ ଭାରତକୁ ବି ଫେରିପାରେ।

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has stirred political debate by saying that Sindh province, currently in Pakistan, could “return to India” as borders can change anytime. Speaking at a Sindhi Samaj Sammelan in New Delhi, he said that although Sindh is not part of India today, civilisationally it has always remained connected.

Singh remarked that the idea of Sindh’s return cannot be ruled out, highlighting that India’s boundaries may change in the future. His comments touched on historical and cultural ties, reinforcing the belief that Sindh has always been linked to Indian civilisation.

These statements have drawn attention due to their strong geopolitical undertones and their reference to past cultural unity.
