ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଗତି କୁଆଡେ। ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ଜନ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ବିଲର ଆଇନ୍ ପ୍ରଣୟନ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା ସମୟରେ ଗୃହରେ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ବିଜେଡି ବିଧାୟକ ରଣେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରତାପ ସ୍ବାଇଁଙ୍କ "ଦିଲ୍ କି ବାତ୍"କୁ ନେଇ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା। ସରକରୀ ଦଳ ସହିତ ଯିବାକୁ ସର୍ତ୍ତ ରଖି ରଣେନ୍ଦ୍ର କହିଥିଲେ ମୋ ଦିଲ କି ବାତ୍ ହେଉଛି, ଯଦି ମଦକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବ, ତମ ଯୋଗୁଁ ହେଉ କି ଆମ ଯୋଗୁଁ ହେଉ, ଲୁଟେରା ଜାଲ ବିଛେଇ ଥିବା ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ବିତରଣ ପାଇଁ ଆସିଥିବା ଶିଳ୍ପ ପତିଙ୍କ ଭଳି ଅମାନିଆ ଷଣ୍ଢଙ୍କୁ ଭର୍ତି କରିପାରିବ ତାହାଲେ, ମୁଁ ତମ ସହିତ ଚାଲିଯିବି।

During a recent legislative session on the trust-in-government bill, BJD MLA Ranendra Pratap Swain declared that his “dil ki baat” — his heartfelt truth — is that he would be willing to walk with the government (join them), provided two conditions are met: a complete ban on liquor, and replacing corrupt electricity-distribution contractors engaged in a “lootera jaal.” His statement has stirred debate about a possible political switch, and draws attention to allegations of deep-rooted corruption.
