Rourkela Aircraft Crash Probe Report Due Within a Month; India One Air Announces Job, Support for Victim’s Family

The investigation report into the Rourkela aircraft crash is expected to be submitted within a month. India One Air has announced that one member of the deceased passenger’s family will be given a job, and the airline will also bear the family’s expenses for five months.

The announcement was made by India One Air CEO Prem Kumar Garg following the death of passenger Sushant Kumar Biswal, who succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment on Saturday. The CEO stated that the aircraft wreckage will be shifted to Bhubaneswar within the next two to three days. He added that the probe is underway and an interim investigation report will be available within a month.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep grief over the demise of Sushant Kumar Biswal and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family. The Chief Minister has also announced ₹4 lakh ex-gratia assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the victim’s next of kin.
