Officials said that merely handling the bundles made one feel “life has been blessed,” highlighting the scale of unaccounted wealth and prompting a disproportionate assets investigation under the Prevention of Corruption Act, with further searches ongoing at linked properties to trace additional illicit assets. The operation emphasizes intensified anti-corruption efforts in Odisha, sending a strong message to public servants involved in unlawful money accumulation.
