BJD MLA Ganeshwar Behera has demanded a CBI inquiry instead of a Crime Branch probe into allegations against Pandian. He said a biased or vengeful investigation would yield no results and questioned the delay in initiating a proper probe. The MLA stated that mere allegations are not enough and must be proven, adding that there was nothing wrong in a government officer touring by helicopter with official permission to understand public issues.
