କମିବ କି ବିଧାୟକଙ୍କ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ଦରମା। ବିଧାୟକ ଦରମା ବୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ଲାଗିପାରେ ବ୍ରେକ। ଅଟକି ଯାଇପାରେ ବିଧାୟକ ଦରମା ଓ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପେନସନ ଆଇନ। ବିଧାୟକଙ୍କ ଦରମା ବୃଦ୍ଧିକୁ ନେଇ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ତୀବ୍ର ଅସନ୍ତୋଷ ପରେ ବିଜେପି ବିଧାୟକମାନଙ୍କ ବଡ଼ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି। ଗତ ଶୀତ ଅଧିବେଶନରେ ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ପାରିତ ବିଧାୟକମାନଙ୍କ ଦରମା, ଭତ୍ତା ଓ ପେନସନ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ବିଲର ପୁନଃବିଚାର ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ବିଜେପି ବିଧାୟକମାନେ। ଏନେଇ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ଲିଖିତ ଦାବୀପତ୍ର ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଧାୟକ। ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଏହାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ସହ ପୁନଃ ବିଚାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସହମତି ମଧ୍ୟ ଜଣାଇଥିବା କୁହଯାଉଛି। ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ବିଜେଡି କହିଛି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆଜି ବାହାରେ ବିରୋଧ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ଆଲୋଚନା ବେଳେ ବିରୋଧ କଲେ ନାହିଁ କାହିଁକି।

There may be a halt on the proposed hike in MLAs’ salary, allowances and pensions in Odisha. Following strong public resentment, BJP MLAs have moved a proposal seeking reconsideration of the MLA salary and enhanced pension law passed during the last Winter Session of the Legislative Assembly.

All BJP MLAs have submitted a written memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding a review of the bill. It is reported that the Chief Minister has accepted the memorandum and agreed to reconsider the matter. The development could put the salary hike and pension amendment on hold.
