Police in Sahidnagar, Odisha, are investigating the brutal killing of a helpless cat, registering a case after animal lovers lodged complaints. The cat was allegedly murdered in cold night conditions by being drenched with cold water and left to die, leading to its death. Police ordered a post-mortem at the local OTW Animal Hospital in the presence of officers to determine the cause of death. The accused have been directed to appear at Sahidnagar Police Station as the investigation continues under police supervision.
