ମଞ୍ଚରେ ଚାଲିଥିଲା ନିଶାଙ୍କ ନଗ୍ନ ନାଚ ଆଉ ତଳେ ଏହାକୁ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ ଖୋଦ୍ ପୋଲିସ୍ ବାବୁ। ବଲାଙ୍ଗିର ସଦର ଥାନା ଚନ୍ଦନଭାଟି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ନିଶା ମହାରାଣାଙ୍କ ଷ୍ଟେଜ୍ ଶୋ’ ଚାଲିଥିଲା ଆଉ ଏହାକୁ ତଳେ ରହି ହସି ହସି ମଜା ଉଠାଉଥିଲେ ଚନ୍ଦନଭାଟି ଫାଣ୍ଡି ଅଧିକାରୀ ରଞ୍ଜିତ ପଧାନ। ଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ଉଦଘାଟନ କରିଥିଲେ ଖୋଦ୍ ଫାଣ୍ଡି ଅଧିକାରୀ। ପରେ ଦଶର୍କଙ୍କ ସହ ବସି ନିଶାଙ୍କ ଉଲଗ୍ନ ନାଚ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ। ପରେ ଘଟଣା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ବଲାଙ୍ଗିର ଏସପି ଜାଣିବା ପରେ ଫାଣ୍ଡି ଅଧିକାରୀ ସଦର ଥାନାରେ ଏତଲା ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ଗତ ୧୨ ତାରିଖ ଦିନ ଏସବୁ ଘଟୁଥିଲା କିନ୍ତୁ କେମିତି ଫାଣ୍ଡି ଅଧିକାରୀ ସେଠି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ରହି ଏହାକୁ ବିରୋଧ କଲେନି ତାହା ଏବେ ବଡ଼ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ସାଜିଛି।

A controversy has erupted in Odisha’s Balangir district after a police officer was allegedly seen watching a controversial stage performance instead of stopping it. The incident took place in the Chandanbhati area under Balangir Sadar Police Station, where a Jatra stage show featuring performer Nisha Maharana was underway.

According to the source, Chandanbhati Phandi Officer Ranjit Pradhan not only inaugurated the Jatra but was later seen sitting among the audience and enjoying the performance. The situation has raised serious questions about police responsibility and conduct, as no objection was raised at the time of the event.

After the matter came to the notice of the Balangir Superintendent of Police, the Phandi Officer reportedly submitted a written complaint at the Sadar Police Station. Though the incident occurred on the 12th, the officer’s presence at the venue without any preventive action has now become a major point of debate.
