Poachers Target Migratory Birds in Chilika, Nets Laid in Balugaon Area

ଚିଲିକାରେ ମାତିଛନ୍ତି ଶିକାରୀ । ଜାଲ ବିଛାଇ ଶିକାର କରୁଛନ୍ତି ବିଦେଶୀ ପକ୍ଷୀ । ଚିଲିକାରେ ଫାଶ ବସାଇ ଅବାଧରେ ପକ୍ଷୀ ଶିକାର କରାଯାଉଥିବା ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଛି ।
Poachers are reportedly active in Chilika Lake, trapping and hunting foreign migratory birds using nets. The illegal activities have been reported from the Balugaon Nuapada Range under the Budhibar Diakuda area. Traps are allegedly being set up in illegal prawn enclosure zones, leading to the death of several birds daily.
