‘ଯେଉଁ ଜାଗାର ଯାହା ନାମ, ତାହା ରହିବା ଉଚିତ। ଇଂରେଜମାନେ ପଳାଇଛନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଢାଞ୍ଚା ରହିଯାଇଛି। ତୁରନ୍ତ ପ୍ରତି ଜାଗାର ଓଡ଼ିଆ ନାମକରଣ ହିସାବରେ ଇଂରାଜୀରେ ଲେଖାଯିବା ଉଚିତ। ’ଏପରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଖୋରଧା କୋର୍ଟର ଜଣେ ଓକିଲ।
A lawyer of the Khordha court has said that every place should retain its original name and that Odia place names must be written in English accordingly. He stressed that the identity associated with local names should not be altered.
