Paddy lifting at mandis will return to normal from today after the Millers’ Association withdrew its agitation following an assurance from the government. The development is expected to restore regular procurement operations at mandis.

The decision was informed yesterday by Millers’ Association secretary Lakshmi Narayan Das. He stated that the government has assured the association that its demands will be fulfilled within 15 days.
