Paddy Procurement Extended 15 Days Despite Token Lapse: Minister

ଧାନ କିଣା ନେଇ ଯୋଗାଣ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ବଡ଼ ସୂଚନା । ଟୋକନ ସମୟ ସମାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଗଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଉ ୧୫ ଦିନ ବଢ଼ିବ ଅବଧି । ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଏହି ସମୟ ଅବଧି ବଢ଼ାଇ ପାରିବେ । ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ୩୧ ତାରିଖ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଧାନ କିଣା ଜାରି ରହିବ । - କୃଷ୍ଣଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପାତ୍ର, ଯୋଗାଣ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ

The Odisha Government has extended the paddy procurement period by 15 days even after the expiry of token validity. Supply Minister Krushna Chandra Patra announced that procurement will continue till March 31 across the state.

The minister stated that all District Collectors have been authorised to extend the deadline in their respective districts. The decision aims to ensure that farmers do not face inconvenience due to token lapse.
