The Odisha government, in consultation with the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, has decided to reform the existing 2003 land settlement policy that governs the settlement of Jagannath temple lands because past settlements were not completed effectively. Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan said a draft policy will be prepared, and applications will be submitted through a common portal for systematic settlement and administration.
